Welder – 1st Shift
Location: Arden, NC
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Additional Hours: Mandatory rotating Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
We’re seeking a skilled Welder to join a production team in Arden, NC. This role is ideal for experienced professionals proficient in Seam and MIG welding who are ready to contribute to a team committed to quality, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Weld and assemble metal components using Seam and MIG welding techniques
Interpret blueprints, layouts, and diagrams to guide fabrication
Adjust and set up equipment for voltage, gas flow, and polarity as needed
Operate flame cutting tools and grinders
Weld in various positions: flat, vertical, and overhead
Inspect finished welds and ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 4 years of welding experience
Strong skills in Seam and MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Must be able to lift and handle welding tools and materials as needed
Good vision (including color and depth perception) for detailed weld work
